Alerta a Todos aqueles que possuem Animais de estimação !!!
Hoje, dia 22/11/2012, soh consigo descrever o que estamos sentindo com
uma soh palavra: I.N.D.I.G.N.A.C.A.O.
Como muitos sabem eu e a Elis Lima temos 2 cães (Yorkshire Terrier) . A Nina e o Marley, durante estes últimos 2 anos já passaram por situações um tanto quanto estranhas: Veterinário dando dosagem de
antibióticos acima da necessária; clinica removendo etiquetas de vacina do
passaporte da Nina para colocar o nome da clinica na carteirinha e
estragando o passaporte dela; veterinária que não sabia quantas vacinas os cães
tinham tomado, fazendo com que por 2 vezes nos tivéssemos que começar uma
seqüência nova de vacinas.
Mas hoje foi o meu limite:
A 6 meses levamos nossos cães para banho e tosa em um lugar chamado -
Pampered Pets - que esta localizado em Dubai Marina, em frente ao Yacht Club,
duas semanas atras percebemos que o Marley estava com uma mancha vermelha na
perna e eu pensei que fosse uma alergia ou mesmo que ele tinha se machucado,
então assistimos uma matéria no Fantástico a respeito de um Pet Shop no Rio de
Janeiro onde o filho da proprietária batia nos cães na hora do banho.
Nos jah tínhamos o costume de ficar aguardando nossos cães no Pet Shop
ate o final do serviço de banho, apos esta matéria ficamos mais alerta a
respeito, pois para nos assim como muitos outros brasileiros, nossos cães sao
parte da nossa família, sao como filhos e soh entende este sentimento quem tem
um animal de estimação.

Bom, estávamos como de costume aguardando a Nina tomar o banho dela e
olhando como ela se comportava, pois ela não eh fa de banho, então assistimos
uma cena LASTIMAVEL, o outro tosador estava secando uma Labradora, quem conhece
esta raça, sabe que eh uma das racas mais dóceis que existe, não eh a toa que
vimos vários Labradores em Dubai, o cão estava um pouco agitado e acho que foi
isso que me fez ficar prestando atenção e assistir o COVARDE do tosador dar um
murro no pescoço da Labradora e jogá-la contra o vidro da vitrine de onde podíamos
assistir tudo, ele ficou muito sem graça quando percebeu que nos estávamos
assistindo tudo.

A Elis Lima, ficou muito nervosa na hora, pois odeia ver este tipo de
coisa e para quem me conhece, sabe que basta muito menos do que isso para eu
perder a paciência, então chamei o atendente do balcão e informei que o Marley
não iria mais tomar banho naquele estabelecimento, pois se o covarde do tosador
encosta a Mao dele no meu cachorro eu seria capaz de voar no pescoço dele, pedi
o telefone do proprietário ( sr. Samir Shroff ), tentei ligar ainda dentro do
estabelecimento, mas o celular estava desligado, o funcionário me informou que
ele estava fora do Pais, então eu disse que iria informar a TODOS que eu
conheço e que iria divulgar a informação a respeito destes maus-tratos sofridos
pela Labradora, aguardamos por volta de 30 minutos, mas a dona do cão não
apareceu.
Gente, não curto quando vejo fotos no Facebook de animais machucados ou
mortos, porque acho que isso não muda nada, mas temos esta ferramenta aqui o
FACEBOOK, para divulgar fatos das nossas vidas, festas, momentos felizes e
tristes, etc... pq não alertar o que acontece no nosso dia a dia para que
outras pessoas não passem pelas experiências ruins que passamos um dia!!!
Fiquem Alerta!!! protejam seus animais de estimação!! pois estes não são
brinquedos de plástico, são vidas que dependem de nos e estão sempre nos
protegendo ou tentando nos proteger!!!

Yesterday, November 23rd, My wife and I only had one word to describe
what we felt : INDIGNATION.
We have a couple of Yorkshire Terrier ( Nina & Marley ).
During the past 2 years in Dubai, we live very strange situations: Vet
who overdose Nina with antibiotics, Clinic who decided to remove labels from
Nina's passport and stick then in the Clinic's Booklet,
Vet who messed up with the vaccines, then we had to start 2 new cycles
of vaccines again.
But yesterday it was our limit:
For the last 6 months We decided to take our dogs to a place close to
our house, called PAMPERED PETS, located in Dubai Marina, opposite the YACHT
CLUB, 2 weeks ago I observed a red mark in one of Marley's legs, I thought it
was allergy or that he hurt himself jumping around, but them we watched a tv
program about pet shops mistreating dogs, we always wait for our dogs to be
ready from grooming whatever we take them for it, practice that is not very
normal in Dubai, as we realized that owners normally leave their pets and come
back later to collect then, but for us ( brazilians ) pets are part of our
family, we consider them like our own kids.
So yesterday, like all previous grooming sessions, we took Nina &
Marley for bath and then we were waiting in a place where we could see the
Staff washing Nina, I had Marley with me, because the other Staff was washing a
Labrador, for those who knows this race, Labs are the most friendly kind of
dog, that's why you can see lot's of those in Dubai, We saw the Staff having a
little trouble with that labrador, who was very afraid and then We realized
why, We witnessed a very sad scene, the PAMPERED PETS Staff member punching the
Labrador and pushing her against the glass wall, when he realized that We saw
everything, he got lost and didn't know what to do, so he moved the dog to the
other table where we couldn't see what the whole body, but we still seeing him
holding the labs mouth in a very aggressive way, that dog was very scared, she
WASN'T trying to bite him, she was just trying to avoid being hold buy this
COWARD.
I called the person responsible for the front desk and told him that I
didn't want the service anymore and would never take my dogs there
anymore, I also asked the owner's phone ( Mr. Samir Shroff ) and tried to
called him, but his mobile was off, so the staff told me that he wasn't in the
country , I told him that I was expecting to hear from the owner or somebody
responsible for the PET SHOP, but nobody called us, We also waited for the
Labrador's owner for 30 minutes, but until we left the place she hadn't
returned to collected her pet.
Unfortunately we don't know if this kind of aggression against pets is
crime in the UAE ( back home it is, and punishment of max. 2 years in jail ),
so we were not sure if we could call the police and open a report, so we decide
to post this report and the picture showing the staff ( in white T-shirt ) who
PUNCHED the poor labrador.
Be Aware of who is looking after your pets, some people hate to do this
kind of jobs and only do it, to avoid the heat outdoors and for the money, they
completely ignore the lives that we trust in their hands.
